    In this chapter, I discuss how chogukjeok pan-East Asian soft masculinity, represented in Korean popular culture products, freely crosses cultural boundaries, by focusing on two critical aspects: firstly, the transcultural influence of manga and anime in regional and global popular culture markets; and secondly, the new media consumption.
